  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized dollops of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space in between.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  10. Drizzle warm salted caramel sauce over each cookie and sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt.
  11. Cool completely on a wire rack.
