- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dollops of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Drizzle warm salted caramel sauce over each cookie and sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt.
- Cool completely on a wire rack.
