  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside, leaving a tablespoon of grease in the pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, maple syrup, bourbon, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well blended and smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the crumbled bacon, reserving some for garnish.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining bacon. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve warm with dippers.
