- 8 slices thick-cut bacon
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp bourbon
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside, leaving a tablespoon of grease in the pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, maple syrup, bourbon, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well blended and smooth.
- Gently fold in the crumbled bacon, reserving some for garnish.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining bacon. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve warm with dippers.
