Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- Green food coloring
- Red and green sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing in peppermint extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in green food coloring until desired shade is reached.
- Mix in half of the sprinkles into the batter.
- Spread batter in the prepared baking dish, sprinkle the remaining sprinkles on top.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, until edges are set and slightly golden.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
- Serve and enjoy with family and friends!
