Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, and beat until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the flour and baking soda, then slowly mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the toffee bits and salt.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are set.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar. Chilling the dough for 30 minutes can enhance texture.
