Description
A quick and delightful crab linguine, enriched with creamy sauce and fresh flavors that bring families together.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces linguine
- 1 pound fresh crab meat
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Crushed red pepper, optional
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add linguine, and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in white wine and simmer for a couple of minutes. Add heavy cream and stir well.
- Gently fold in fresh crab meat and allow it to warm through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add drained linguine and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss until well coated.
- Squeeze lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with parsley. Optional: add crushed red pepper for heat.
- Plate immediately and serve.
Notes
For a twist, try using shrimp or scallops instead of crab. Olive oil can be used instead of butter for a healthier option.
