Description

A quick and delightful crab linguine, enriched with creamy sauce and fresh flavors that bring families together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 1 pound fresh crab meat
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Crushed red pepper, optional

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add linguine, and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in white wine and simmer for a couple of minutes. Add heavy cream and stir well.
  4. Gently fold in fresh crab meat and allow it to warm through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add drained linguine and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss until well coated.
  6. Squeeze lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and garnish with parsley. Optional: add crushed red pepper for heat.
  7. Plate immediately and serve.

Notes

For a twist, try using shrimp or scallops instead of crab. Olive oil can be used instead of butter for a healthier option.
